Aroundness...
So, here's the situation. Many of you (like the two of you that actually pay attention to this blog, you know who you two are, you're both so sweet! : D ) may be wondering where I've been the last couple of days. Well I have a perfectly good answer for you, actually, I've got more than one answer for you, here they are!


Our phoneline sucks

Every single time it rains, our phoneline (and as a consequence, our DSL) goes out. We have no idea why this happens. This seems to be getting worse every time, I've just now gotten back online after 24 hours of not being able to talk on the home phone and not being able to get online.

Linux System Administration

I've got a shiny new class that's going to suck 12 hours of classtime out of every week. Fortunately, this class only lasts until June 8th. Unfortunately, I have no idea what level of homework I'm going to need to do for this class, so it might actually suck more than 12 hours of classtime out of every week. Yippy Skippy! The Evil!

I'm going crazy

Three weeks left of school, 'nuff said

Re: the phoneline thing: it might be that water's leaking into the phonelines and shorting them out somewhere, especially if you have underground phonelines like we do. Back when our dial-up went completely to pot (and eventually, by extension, our actual phonelines) the summer after I graduated HS, that turned out to be the problem. We had to call the company and get them to come out and fix it.

yeah, and apparently you got absolutly NO sleep saturday night - sunday morning. You really seem worried about your time.

We sort of have that problem with the phones... Ours are above ground, but we went from going out when it rains to going out AFTER it rains... O.o

I hadn't heard one way or another, and wanted someone else who has played it to talk to about it. I was hoping for good news.

I'll personally come to your house and threaten your computer, if you think that'll help.

As for me, I think this is the best game I've played since Homeworld, and Myst and Riven are high up on those lists too.

Sorry to bring up a painful subject.
